IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE          JAGUAR WALK ABOUT!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

1.  The PTSA online registration site is no longer selling items.  You can still sign up to become a PTSA member, make a donation and volunteer.  2011 Spirit wear is sold out.  Last year’s spirit wear will be for sale at the Jaguar Walk About.   We still have a limited supply of school supplies, required reading, and planners.  They will be for sale at the Jaguar Walk About until they sell out.  ONLY CHECKS AND CASH will be accepted at the Walk About.

2.  Your items will be reserved for you to pick up August 10-12 at the Jaguar Walk-About as long as you paid online.  If you have it, please bring your RECEIPT.  Don’t worry if you didn’t print it as we will have a spreadsheet with all sales.

3.  You MUST pick up your pre-ordered items during the Jaguar Walk-About.  Jasper is open: Aug 10th from 9-4, Aug 11th from 9-4, Aug 12th from 9-1.  You can come up any time during those days to walk your schedule and pick up your PRE-PAID items.  **IF YOU CANNOT PICK UP YOUR ITEMS ON THESE DAYS, THEN PLEASE HAVE A FRIEND PICK THEM UP FOR YOU** No exceptions please.

4.  We HIGHLY recommend that you don’t come on the first day, especially in the morning.  The first mornings will likely be our busiest time.  Later in the afternoon of each of the days will probably be the best times (1-4).  Please be patient with us!  If there are lines, then try walking your schedule first and then come back.

5.  Your school ID can be purchased at the Parent Portal website.  Pictures for the ID and yearbook will be taken on September 7 and 8, 2011 during the school day, NOT during the Walk About.  To order a yearbook, please visit www.jostensyearbooks.com   Yearbooks can also be ordered in the cafeteria at the Jaguar Walk About.

6.  The Jasper PTSA registration is VERY different from the school registration.  Beginning on August 1, parents can log on to their PISD Parent Portal (the same place where you can see your child’s grades during the school year) to access and complete all of the necessary forms and permission slips to issue a student schedule.  Your child’s schedule will NOT be available until August  10th!  You have to purchase a student ID to get your schedule on the 10th. *Go to www.pisd.edu.  Click on the "Parent Tab".       Then "Parent Portal"

7.  Freshman Orientation is Saturday, August 13th.  Most of your questions about Freshman Orientation can be found at www.jasperptsa.org on the home page.   If you need to switch times or have any other questions, then please contact Amanda Mathews at Amanda.Mathews@pisd.edu  Times for Freshman Orientation are:  AM Session is from 8:30 a.m.- 12:00 noon OR PM Session is from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m

Things to Remember:

Students will have their yearbook and student ID pictures taken on September 7 (9th grade) and September 8 (10th grade), and not during the Jaguar Walk About.

The DEADLINE to prepay for school supplies, required reading, spirit wear, Freshman Orientation and planners was August 7th!

You will NOT find your Jasper school schedule here.  Beginning August 1, parents can log on to their PISD Parent Portal to access and complete all of the necessary forms and permission slips to issue a student schedule.  SCHEDULES WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL AUGUST 10th, but you can complete the necessary forms beginning August 1st.

Click on the "Parent Tab"

Then "Parent Portal"

Yearbooks are available to be purchased online beginning August 8th at www.jostensyearbooks.com
