JASPER PTSA PROGRAM - DRUGS, ALCOHOL, AND
TEENAGERS DRUGS, ALCOHOL, AND TEENAGERS - JANUARY 17 AT 6:30 PM
The Collin County Substance Abuse Coalition
(CCSAP) and the Jasper PTSA will be hosting a panel of experts to
discuss your concerns about drugs, alcohol and the impact on teenagers.
CCSAP's goal is to stop alcohol and drug use before it begins.
They speak to kids in the classroom and to parents in the community
about the dangers of addiction through a coalition of concerned
community leaders.
Our speakers will address issues including the
following topics:
- What drugs could your teen be exposed to?
- What are the laws and consequences of teenage
alcohol and drug abuse and underage hosting?
- What do parents need to know to arm their
child against peer pressure?
- What are the signs of substance abuse?
- What do you do if you suspect substance abuse?
**Students are welcome to attend this
informative event!!
